When I first came to Carolina Hearing Services, Inc. (CHS), I was impressed with the warm, friendly atmosphere as well as the non-pretentious nature of the facility, especially the waiting room where time spent was always minimal. Dr. Martine and her staff are well-trained, personable, and made every effort to learn about the development of my particular hearing deficiency. They conducted an evaluation and carefully explained the program and devices they could offer and were sensitive to financial considerations as well.
The facility is adequately equipped with up-to-date computer technology that allows CHS to provide and service a wide range of modern digital hearing aid products. I found it most helpful to be able to use a trial period in an effort to find the aid best suited to my own needs and situation, including comfort, fit, and maintenance. The folks at CHS are dedicated to achieving better hearing for the patient and are genuinely interested in providing the right equipment to meet that goal. I felt they treated me with a great deal of respect and were more than willing to work with my irregular and extended schedule.
I was never rushed and there was no pressure to purchase any preferred device. At every step in the process, their work was conducted in a professional manner, and I would certainly recommend CHS to anyone with a hearing difficulty who seeks better understanding and a good chance for improvement.

I have been a patient of Cathy Martine's since 1990. She has always looked out for my best interest. She has helped to save me money on the purchase of hearing aids. When digital was first starting, she encouraged me to stick with my analog aids due to price concerns. I now have two behind the ear digital aids that are wonderful. Whenever I have any problems with the aids, she and her staff are very helpful in making sure that if repairs need to be made (out of office) that I get a loaner aid so that I can continue my life. Cathy Martine and her staff are wonderful.
